Ever had one of those days (or weeks) where the stress has been building up inside and you feel like you're going to explode? Well you're not alone, life can get stressful for us all. But don't let your head go pop, come and let off steam at Prison Smash, a unique prison-themed rage room.

Prison Smash is a safe space filled with smashable items. You can choose from the selection of smashable packages and can even bring your own items to break. Go wild, be mad, have fun, release your inner frustrations within a safe, controlled environment. The experience will feel like a weight lifted from your shoulders, leaving you calm, relaxed, focused and ready to enjoy the rest of your day.

WHAT AM I BREAKING?

Prison Smash offer a variety of items that range from plates, cups, glasses, wine bottles, electrical equipment, washing machines, printers, car engines, tyres, furniture, etc.

We can select and source specific items if you wish at additional cost and notice.

Our aim is to select the best items that will provide the most entertainment value to you session.

Each rage sessions is timed at 20 minutes, and remember, we're always working on new entertainment options for your enjoyment.

Get kitted out in our high quality safety equipment, select from our list of rage room weapons and smash out to your favourite type of music.

Bring your family, friends, work colleagues or anyone else who just needs to let loose with you and experience our stress-busting and exciting environment! Release all your inner frustrations smashing things up then leave the tidying up to us. Our friendly staff will take care of you, don’t worry about anything … apart from having crazy fun.

YOU MUST BE OVER 18 TO USE OUR PRISON SMASH RAGE ROOMS!

Please ensure suitable clothing is worn under the safety equipment we provide. Acceptable clothing includes:

Long sleeve shirt
Hoodie or Sweatshirt
Jeans or Heavy Sweatpants

Each rage sessions is timed at 20 minutes. Please arrive promptly, ideally 10 minutes early for your scheduled booking time. This allows participants time to check-in and put on their safety equipment.

What am I breaking?

SMALL ITEMS: Include things such as bottles, dishes, glassware, small breakables, or similar items.
MEDIUM ITEMS: Include larger breakables, windows, appliances, electronics, monitors, speakers, or similar items.
LARGE ITEMS: Include things such as TVs, furniture, large glass panes/doors, printers, or similar items.

We can select and source specific items if you wish at additional cost and notice.

Weapons of choice

Our Rage Room offers you the ability to use a selection of weaponry such as:

Baseball Bats, Sledge Hammers, Timber Planks, Metal Bars, Hammers.

Please ask if you want to use anything else!

Play your own music through the inbuilt sound system

The rage room is equipped with a bluetooth speaker that can connect and play your own music, enhancing the enjoyment of your visit. Whether it's rock, pop, classical, hard rock, hip hop, dance or trash metal, get it on and get it loud!

We can film your experience (extra & must be pre-arranged)

Rules for the Rage Room MUST BE followed!

Signed waivers are mandatory before entering rage rooms.
No personal weapons.
You must be equipped with protective gear to enter the rage room.
No person under the influence of drugs or alcohol can enter the rage room. (Management have the right to refuse admission.)
No food or drinks in the rage room.
All participants should come dressed to Prison Smash by wearing full coverage clothing.
Do not throw or smash anything against the door.
Do not throw or smash anything up at the ceiling.
Do not use striking implements to smash walls or floors.
Do not damage the themed area.
No chemical or toxic items will be allowed in the rage room.

Strictly over 18s

To actively take part in Prison Smash you must be over 18 years. Under the age of 18 will not be permitted. Proof of ID will be required and do not be offended if requested. Failure to provide will terminate session with no refund (honestly is the best policy when booking).

Safety: very important, please read!

At Prison Smash, the most important issue is safety and it is paramount for staff and customers. We have very strict guidelines which must be adhered too along with a safety briefing before each session. In addition, each customer is provided with heavy-duty coveralls, safety boots, helmet and gloves before anything actively can commence. Once in the rage room you will be notified when to start and stop by red and green lights.

FOLLOW THE SAFETY GUIDELINES

Safety is paramount in rage rooms. Please make sure to wear all the protective equipment offered. Always Listen carefully to the safety briefing before your session starts. The guidelines are for you and the staff wellbeing, failure to adhere will terminate the session with immediate effect. Strict guidelines must be adhered too at all times.

RESPECT YOUR SURROUNDINGS

At Prison Smash we want you to have the best experience but it is very important to openly respect the space and materials provided. Remember that a rage room is a shared environment, and maintaining cleanliness contributes to a better experience for everyone involved and participating. Avoid throwing items outside designated areas and follow the instructions given by staff which continues to help ensure that equipment and facilities remain in good condition for future guests.

BE MINDFUL OF OTHERS

Prions Smash rage room is here to express your inner self but please be considerate of your energy levels and reactions to others. If someone appears overwhelmed, check in with them and encourage breaks if they are needed. Creating a supportive environment can significantly enhance the experience for everyone involved.

Prions Smash offers a unique opportunity to vent all your frustrations, but by following simple considerate etiquette guidelines, a safe and enjoyable atmosphere is maintained.

what to expect & rules

What is a Splatter Room?

A large room where you throw paint on a blank canvas (or each other) and make your own personal artwork masterpiece!
Is there a minimum time slot to book?

Yes, there are 30 minutes time slots. You will need to get changed and prepared for the fun so please arrive at least 10 minutes early so as not to lose any time.
What should I wear?

Bring your OLD jeans, t-shirts and tops. You can also purchase a white tee or paint suit from us.
Can I leave my canvas until it dries?

Yes. You can pick up your artwork the next day. You must pick up your artwork within 7 days of your booking. We can post it out to you but this incurs additional charges.
Will I be able to shower/clean up after?

We have a sink to clean up your hands and face, keep in mind that you will be leaving the spatter room covered in paint.
Do I have to fill out a waiver?

Yes, everyone using the facility must fill out a waiver. If under the age of 18 a parent/guardian must fill it out for you.
Will the paint wash out of my hair/skin?

Yes, we use washable paint for these events. All glow paint colours will wash off of your hair and skin. We cannot guarantee it will come out of your clothes 100%.
Is the paint safe?

The paint we use is very safe and passes ASTMD-4236 Certification.
Do you do food?

Just snacks, crisps, drinks, chocolate etc. We do free tea & coffee for any parents that are here to watch. If you need something slightly more substantial there's a Greggs over the road!
